What Do You Need To Bring

WHAT TO BRING

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE KENNEL WHEN MY PET COMES TO STAY?

*Food:  The food we keep on hand at the kennel is Pedigree Mealtime and we always have both dry and canned food on hand.   If your dog is on a medical/special diet or if your dog is used to eating the same food all the time, you should bring your own food.  Please put your dog's name and amount you feed per meal on the container.  Bring enough for the visit and a little extra - just in case.

*Medication:  Bring any medicine that your dog takes regularly with your dog's name and the dosage clearly listed on the container.

Please make sure the dosage listed on the container is current.

Make sure whoever brings your dog knows if the medication has been given that day.

*Emergency Phone Number: You'll need to leave the number of a friend or relative who could contact you,

if necessary. If you wish you can also leave the number where you'll be staying.

*Blankets and Bedding.   We have plenty of bedding here but many pets like to have their own favorite bed from home. PLEASE MAKE SURE ANY BEDDING FROM HOME IS FRESHLY LAUNDERED.

Some people bring lots of "stuff" with their pets and that's no problem. If you do come piled high with equipment, it's easier to know what to send home if we have a list of what you brought in.

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD NOT BRING?

*Food pans or water bowls from home.

*Bedding which is stuffed or filled - it can be unstuffed and unfilled too easily.

*Bedding which is not clean. For every pet's protection, we do not want any fleas or ticks brought into the kennel inadvertently.

*Toys which your dog does not usually receive, such as rawhides, which may cause an allergic reaction in a dog who has never had one before.
